TOGETHER CHAIR

The Together Chair is formed from two pieces of pre-laminated ply-wood which combine with a splash of colour to create a neat and stylish soft rocker. The soft rock motion of the chair seeks the middle ground between a static chair, and a conventional rocker. The outline naturally follows the posture of the body when leaning forward and back, and yet is steady enough for conventional dinning or office use.

Working with the same proportions of Ben’s earlier ‘Chair India’, the Together Chair uses identical ergonomic principles, and applies them to an entirely new production method. The vacuum-formed aero-ply prototype models will eventually be made in a mechanical heat press using constructional wood veneers. The Together chair will be available in a pallet of four bright colours, with an Ash veneered seat.
